Terms and Conditions of Service

for Revo-IT, LLC (dba Revo Technologies)

Effective Date: 6/29/2026

Welcome to Revo Technologies (hereafter "Company," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern all computer repair services, diagnostic work, data management, and parts sales provided by us, whether initiated through our website revotechnologies.com or at our physical retail location in Murray, Utah.

By submitting a device for diagnostics or repair, you (hereafter "Customer," "you") agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

  1. Diagnostics and Estimates
    • Diagnostic Fees: A non-refundable diagnostic fee of $69.99 applies to all devices submitted for evaluation. This fee covers the labor required to test and identify the hardware or software issue and will be applied toward the total cost of the approved repair.
    • Repair Authorizations: We will automatically proceed with any repair where the total cost of parts and labor is estimated to be under $100. For any repair exceeding this amount, we will seek your verbal or written authorization via phone, text, or email before proceeding.
  2. Payments, Storage Fees, and Mechanic's Liens
    • Payment Due: Payment for all diagnostics, parts, and labor is due in full at or before the time of device pickup. We do not offer payment plans or financing unless agreed upon in a separate written corporate account contract.
    • Storage Fees: Devices not picked up within 14 days after notification of completion or unrepairability will be charged a storage fee of $5.00 per day .
    • Utah Mechanic's Lien: In accordance with Utah Code § 38-2-3 (Repairman's Lien) , Revo-IT, LLC (dba Revo Technologies) retains a possessory lien on all physical hardware left in our possession. We reserve the strict legal right to withhold the return of your device until all outstanding diagnostic, labor, parts, and storage fees are paid in full.
  3. Abandoned Property and Disposal
    • Abandonment Timeline: Pursuant to Utah personal property laws, any device left unpaid or uncollected for more than 45 days after the date of repair completion or diagnostic finalization will be legally deemed abandoned.
    • Right of Disposal: Once a device is deemed abandoned, Revo Technologies reserves the right to sell, recycle, or dismantle the device to recover outstanding labor, parts, and storage costs.
    • Data Destruction: Prior to the resale or disposal of any abandoned hardware, we will perform a secure, permanent data wipe to protect customer privacy.
  4. Limited Warranty and Exclusions
    • Labor Warranty: We provide a 30-day warranty on our repair labor, effective from the date of device pickup. If the exact same issue reoccurs due to a defect in our workmanship during this period, we will remedy the issue at no additional labor cost.
    • Parts Warranty: New replacement parts are subject to the warranties provided by their respective manufacturers or distributors. Used or refurbished parts are sold "as-is" unless otherwise specified in writing.
    • Warranty Exclusions: Our warranty is immediately voided if the device shows signs of liquid damage, physical drops, user-tampering, unauthorized modifications, or virus re-infection following its release from our shop.
  5. Pre-Existing Conditions and Disassembly Risks
    • Inherent Risks: You acknowledge that electronic devices—especially those with pre-existing physical damage—are fragile. Opening a device with a cracked screen, structural frame damage, or a swollen lithium-ion battery carries an inherent risk of worsening the defect.
    • Liability Cap: Revo Technologies is not responsible for the cosmetic or structural degradation of hardware that occurs naturally or inevitably during standard disassembly and repair.
  6. Data Loss Disclaimer and Liability Limits
    • Customer Backup Obligation: Hardware diagnostics, component replacement, and virus removals carry inherent risks of data corruption or total loss. It is your sole responsibility to back up all data, photos, software, and documents before surrendering your device to us.
    • Limitation of Liability: Revo Technologies is not liable for any lost data, lost profits, or consequential damages resulting from our services. In no event shall our total financial liability to you exceed the total amount actually paid by you to us for the specific service in dispute.
  7. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
    • These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah. Any legal action, small claims dispute, or mediation arising out of or relating to our services must be filed and handled exclusively in the Murray City Justice Court (for claims within its jurisdictional limit) or the Third District Court in Salt Lake County, Utah (for claims exceeding justice court limits). You hereby consent to the exclusive personal jurisdiction and venue of these courts.
