for Revo-IT, LLC (dba Revo Technologies)

Effective Date: 6/29/2026

At Revo Technologies, accessible at revotechnologies.com or at our physical retail location, the privacy of our visitors and customers is of extreme importance to us. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of personal and digital information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect your data during hardware servicing.

  1. Information We Collect

We collect information to provide retail sales and technical repair services. This includes:

    • Log Data: standard web information your browser sends, including your IP address, browser type, and pages visited.
    • Personal Information: Information you voluntarily provide via contact forms, repair intake forms, or checkout, including your name, email address, physical address, and phone number.
    • Device Metadata: Technical details about the hardware you bring in for service, including device make, model, operating system, serial numbers, and MAC addresses.
  2. Hardware Data and Device Privacy

Because we service physical machines, we implement strict data privacy controls for your hardware:

    • Data Access During Service: In order to diagnose, repair, or test your devices (such as PCs, laptops, or hard drives), our technicians may need access to the device operating system or storage media. We enforce strict internal controls to ensure our technicians only access files strictly necessary to complete the repair. We do not copy, browse, or store your personal files, photos, or documents without your explicit consent.
    • Data Recovery Services: If you explicitly request data backup or data recovery services, we will temporarily store your recovered data on our secure in-house servers. This data is permanently deleted from our systems 30 days after you collect your device, unless specifically requested otherwise by you or your authorized representative.
  3. Data Backup and Liability Disclaimer
    • Customer Responsibility: While we take every precaution to secure your data, data loss can occur during hardware repairs, component replacements, virus removals, or operating system reinstalls. It is the customer's sole responsibility to back up all data before surrendering a device for service.
    • Liability: Revo Technologies is not liable for any data loss, corrupted files, or unrecoverable information that occurs during the diagnostic or repair process.
  4. How We Use and Share Your Information

We use your information to operate our business, fulfill repairs, and process transactions. We do not sell your data. We share information only in the following scenarios:

    • Parts and Warranty Registration: When ordering replacement parts or processing manufacturer warranty claims on your behalf, we may share specific device identifiers (serial numbers, models) along with your name with hardware manufacturers and distributors.
    • Third-Party Software: We may use third-party tools, such as Google Analytics on our website or specialized point-of-sale (POS) and repair ticketing software, to manage your service orders safely.
  5. Abandoned Hardware and Data Destruction

Devices left unpaid or uncollected for more than 45 days after service completion will be considered abandoned in accordance with local laws. Abandoned devices may be sold or recycled to recover repair and storage costs. Prior to resale or disposal, Revo Technologies will perform a secure, permanent data wipe to completely destroy all personal information stored on the hardware.

  6. Data Security

We employ industry-standard physical and digital security measures to protect your data. This includes secure physical storage for checked-in devices, password-protected diagnostic networks, and encrypted payment processing.

  7. Your Data Rights

Depending on your location, you may have specific rights regarding your personal data, including the right to request access to the data we hold, request corrections to inaccurate data, or request that we delete your contact information from our marketing databases.
